Growing up in a traditional Lao family, food was always at the centre of life. Meals were bold, spicy, and made to bring people together. That love for heat and flavour has stayed with me ever since.
What began as a simple act of gifting jars of homemade chilli oil to family and friends soon turned into something bigger. Their feedback was always the same — “This is too good not to share” — That encouragement inspired me to take the leap and turn a passion into a business.
Why Baby D?
The name comes from Baby Doris, our cheeky beagle. From a young pup, she would proudly bring chillies from the garden as her little “gifts” — It felt only right that her spirit of sharing inspired the name behind the brand.
